AutoCAD® and AlarmCAD® are used for its life safety system designs. These programs assist with circuit calculations, device addressing, and battery calculations. FACS currently uses EASE Evac to aid in the design and layout of voice evacuation and mass notification systems. This program allows the designer to model sound pressure levels (SPL) and CIS/STI intelligibility levels in a given acoustically distinguishable space.
